How do I return an item?

Returns & Cancellation Policy

The museum's returns policy is different depending on the product or service that you have purchased.

Event Tickets may be returned or cancelled for a full refund if the museum is contacted not later than 12 noon on the day prior to the event. No refunds thereafter.

Amtrak and Vintage-Rail Travel: Once payment is received, 20% of the total amount is non-refundable. The remainder is fully refundable until 10 days before the travel date, after which the entire amount is non-refundable.

Merchandise: All other store products may be returned for full refund within 30 days of purchase. Returned items must be in salable condition. A Return Authorization must accompany all returns. Contact the museum in advance to receive a Return Authorization Number.
